Welcome to the English Department!

Our mission is to foster a love for literature, enhance communication skills, and develop critical thinking among our students. We offer a comprehensive curriculum that spans various genres, periods, and cultures, aiming to prepare students for both academic and real-world success.

Course Offerings:

• English 1 - Reading and Writing Together: An introduction to literary analysis, composition, and foundational grammar skills.

• English 2 - Voices and Literature: A study of world literature, with an emphasis on thematic exploration and advanced writing techniques.
• English 11 / 12: The literature focus on integrating historical contexts and diverse perspectives, contemporary works and preparing students for post-secondary reading and writing demands.
• AP English Literature and Composition: An advanced course for college-bound students, emphasizing in-depth literary analysis and critical essays.
