June Student of the Month!

It is a pleasure to announce that Grace Pluff has been named the June Elks Student of the Month for Bellows Falls Union High School. Grace, a senior, is the daughter of Joanne Pluff of Grafton.

Grace is an outstanding student who comes to school each day ready to learn and contribute. She is an active participant in class discussions and group work, always working to include and uplift her peers. Grace consistently challenges herself with rigorous coursework and excels across the board. Her dedication to academic excellence earned her a place in the Marliee Huntoon Jesse A. Judd Chapter of the National Honor Society.

Beyond her academics, Grace exemplifies the qualities of a true leader. She brings a positive attitude to everything she does and leads by example. Considerate, dependable, and always willing to help, Grace is highly respected by both her peers and the staff at BFUHS.

Grace also contributes significantly to school life through her involvement in the BFUHS Student Council. Most recently, she served as a leader in the "Reading Buddies" initiative, where Student Council members visited the Bellows Falls Central Elementary School to read to Kindergarten students-an experience that left a lasting impact on everyone involved.

In addition, Grace is a dedicated and talented athlete on the BFUHS tennis team. Her strong work ethic, leadership, and sportsmanship have made her a standout both on and off the court. We are thrilled to share that Grace has recently committed to play tennis at Simmons University in Massachusetts, a well-earned opportunity that reflects her skill and perseverance.

Grace is a clear and deserving choice for this honor. BFUHS and the Bellows Falls Elks Lodge are proud to recognize her contributions and accomplishments with the June Student of the Month Award.
