June Elks Student of the Month

Bellows Falls Union High School, along with the Bellows Falls Elks Lodge BPOE #19, is proud to announce that Jasmine Perry-Ives has been selected as the June Elks Student of the Month, an honor recognizing students who demonstrate excellence in academics, attitude, school involvement, attendance, and service to others.

Jasmine, a senior at Bellows Falls Union High School and the daughter of Bethany Perry and Leslie Ives of Rockingham, Vermont, has distinguished herself through her strong work ethic, dedication to learning, and commitment to helping others.

A student in the Manufacturing II program at the Windham Regional Career Center, Jasmine has consistently demonstrated responsibility, perseverance, and determination. As the only female student in her advanced manufacturing class, she has embraced opportunities to develop skills in coding, design, fabrication, and welding while taking on challenging projects with confidence and enthusiasm. Her willingness to step outside her comfort zone and pursue new learning opportunities has earned the respect of both her instructors and peers.

Teachers describe Jasmine as kind, respectful, thoughtful, and supportive. She is known for helping classmates, encouraging others, and creating a positive environment wherever she goes. Her genuine concern for the well-being of others and her positive attitude have made her a valued member of the school community.

Jasmine's commitment to service extends well beyond the classroom. She has completed more than 200 hours of community service, much of it through the Meeting Waters YMCA, where she has worked with area youth and made a meaningful impact on the community. Her dedication to serving others serves as an example for her peers and reflects the values celebrated by the Elks Student of the Month program.

Those who know Jasmine recognize her as someone who works hard, leads by example, and quietly makes a difference in the lives of others. Her generosity, perseverance, and commitment to both her education and community make her highly deserving of this recognition.

Bellows Falls Union High School and the Bellows Falls Elks Lodge congratulate Jasmine on this well-deserved honor and wish her continued success in all of her future endeavors.
